IP Forwarding in Semaphore’s T-BOX RTU

Today, SCADA systems are expected to seamlessly interface with a broad variety of IP-enabled end devices such as access control/security equipment, cameras, sensors and variable-speed drives.  While practically all SCADA system ares IP-compatible, users are often disappointed with the lack of support of functionality such as remote configuration and diagnostics.

The IP “gateway” capabilities in Semaphore’s T-BOX RTU products provide not only communications of live, process information but also allow support of configuration and diagnostics.  This technical brief explains those functions and how to configure them using the TWinSoft programming environment.
