New Case Study from Semaphore Describes Wireless Monitoring for Combined Sewage Overflow Reporting

NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE – April 9, 2009 – Semaphore, a CSE Global company offering IP-based RTU solutions, has released a new technical document with information on how to incorporate the ultra low-power T-BOX WM Wireless Monitor with combined sewage overflow (CSO) reporting.

T-BOX Wireless Monitor for Combined Sewage Overflow (CSO) Reporting” shows how T-BOX WM provides a cost-effective solution for utilities that are mandated with real-time reporting of CSO events.

In sewage overflow reporting applications, an integrated, battery-powered solution manages input measurements and a broad range of communications devices to allow operation at all locations. T-BOX WM further extends advanced, IP communications, an integral web server, and push technology to comprise a very informative monitoring system.

This document is available on the Semaphore website, www.cse-semaphore.com.

T-BOX is the first IP-based telemetry solution that enables the complete integration of SCADA systems, control, and communications functionality in one rugged package. It leverages easy-to-use Web technologies and inexpensive public networks for decentralized, monitoring and control systems. T-BOX products offer up to 50% less total installed cost per point versus traditional SCADA/ PLC systems and permit greater organizational access to data through automated reporting and browser software.

Semaphore’s T-BOX and Kingfisher RTU products are ideal for a broad range of monitoring and control applications in the broadcast/telecom, infrastructure management, oil & gas, power, transportation and water/wastewater industries.
