Power Supplies
Semaphore offers four power supplies for use with Kingfisher Plus+.
The PS-12 is a backplane-mounting module that is compatible with 100 – 240 V AC, 50 – 60 Hz and 96 – 240 V DC sources. It provides 5 V DC and 12 V DC to the backplane plus a 12 V DC auxiliary output and optional 24 V DC isolated auxiliary output. The PS-12 is an updated version of the PS-11 power supply module.
The PS-22 is a backplane-mounting module that is compatible with 20 – 60 V DC sources. It provides 5 V DC and 12 V DC to the backplane plus a 12 V DC auxiliary output and optional 24 V DC isolated auxiliary output. The PS-22 is an updated version of the PS-21 power supply module.
The PS-12 and PS-22 support power supply redundancy. Multiple power supply modules can be installed on the backplane.
A PS-12 or PS-22 is required for any Kingfisher Plus+ RTU, except those using the PC-1 processor, which includes an integrated power supply.
The PC-1 power supply section is compatible with nominal 12 V DC inputs. For PC-1 operation with AC sources, Semaphore offers two power supplies, which mount externally to the backplane:

- PSU-4 External 60W Power Supply
